Looping Radar Images

Here's a step by step outline of how the DTD program can animate or "loop" radar images it has collected over the past hour of operation.

Return to the Help Home Page

1. Let DTD run continuously either in full screen mode or in minimized background mode. As it does so, it will collect images and begin to build a history of images for looping/animating the radar. It takes one complete hour to get a full set of images to loop.

2. DTD can animate the radar images using the START LOOP button. If there hasn't been a complete hour elapsed, then you'll see some "blank" images but it will still loop.

3. DTD can control the speed of animating the radar images using the speed control slider shown at left. Move the slider up or down to control the loop speed. The slider is located on the lower left of the DTD main program window in the blue frame.

4. Press the STOP LOOP button to end the looping.

Use > and < buttons to single step through images

5. DTD can SINGLE STEP the radar images using the ARROW BUTTONS in the Speed Control Slider.

Press the > button to step forward

Press the < button to step backwards

Press the   button to return to the Main display after you are done with single step mode.
